i covet all things nava lubelski makes! while in ny a few years ago i was walking around chelsea and stumbled across a gallery with the most beautiful images in the window! it was love at first sight. but, like true love, you sometimes have to wait. so after 22 months of drooling, dreaming and dying.... i will soon be the proud owner of some of her works!

SUZI SOUCHI'S FIRST WINDOW DISPLAY.........

today i had a great time attempting my first window display. i was inspired by a make up editorial that i saw in vogue where the 'makeup' was embroidered. i decided to exaggerate society's obsession with plastic surgery and show my ladies casual, colorful and completely unaware of looking 'out of the ordinary'. i thought it would be funny to have them looking at each other as if to say 'how can she walk around like that?' let me know what you think.
